What are the reasons why PET plastic strapping is not prone to cracking?
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION OF PET PLASTIC STEEL BELT:
PET strapping, also known as PET plastic steel strapping, is a new type of strapping that is currently popular internationally as an alternative to steel strapping. It is widely used in industries such as steel, aluminum, chemical fibers, cotton textiles, brick factories, paper industry, and metal can manufacturing. It boasts high tensile strength: possessing the tensile strength of steel strapping while also exhibiting impact resistance and ductility, ensuring the safe transport of your products.

Why are PET plastic strapping materials less prone to cracking?
1. Linear macromolecular structure: PET molecular chains consist of alternating rigid benzene rings and flexible fibrous hydrocarbon chains. This structure gives the material inherent high strength and toughness, making it less prone to cracking.
2. High crystallinity and orientation: During the manufacturing process of PET plastic strapping, PET is heated and stretched. This stretching process, known as "orientation," causes the originally disordered molecular chains to align and crystallize highly neatly along the stretching direction (i.e., the length direction of the plastic strapping), making the fibrous structure in the raw material more robust and less prone to cracking.

Advantages:
Significantly improves the tensile strength and rigidity of the material in the tensile direction. The strong intermolecular forces make them less prone to relative slippage or breakage, resulting in finished PET plastic strapping that is more resilient, has higher tensile strength, is less prone to breakage, and provides safer and more reliable bundling of goods.
