PET plastic steel belt
PET plastic-steel strapping is a new type of packaging and strapping material made primarily from polyethylene terephthalate (PET) through processes such as hot extrusion.

Features of PET plastic steel belt:
PET belt, also known as plastic steel belt, is a new type of strapping belt that is currently popular in the world to replace steel belt. It is widely used in steel, aluminum, chemical fiber, cotton spinning, tobacco, paper industry, metal can making and other industries.
Strong tensile strength-----It has both the tensile strength of steel belt and the ductility to resist impact, which can ensure the transportation safety of your products.
Low elongation---- The elongation is only one-sixth of that of polypropylene (PP) belt, and it can maintain tension for a long time.

PET Strapping Stress Test
Stress Method: When you tear the strap by hand, a tensile force (tearing force) is applied parallel to the strap surface and in the opposite direction.
The slit made by scissors has a very sharp notch at its end.
When tensile force is applied, all the stress is highly concentrated at the tip of this notch. The actual stress here can be tens or even hundreds of times the average stress.
This extremely high local stress far exceeds the tensile strength of PET in the transverse direction and makes it less prone to cracking.
