Product Description
PET plastic-steel strapping (also known as polyester strapping) is a high-performance plastic strapping material. It is named "plastic-steel strapping" because its strength is close to that of steel strapping. This UV-resistant, safe, and environmentally friendly packaging solution is typically made from recycled mineral water bottles or Sprite bottles.
- Extremely High Tensile Strength----------PET strapping boasts tensile strength several times greater than comparable PP strapping, typically reaching 500 kgf to 800 kgf or higher. It can replace equivalent steel strapping for heavy cargo packaging.
- Excellent Ductility----------- When subjected to strong external forces, PET strapping exhibits an elongation of 5%-10%. This property allows it to absorb impact energy, preventing sudden breakage when impacted or jolted, providing consistent tension and enhanced safety.

PET strapping maintains stable performance over a wide temperature range of -40°C to 90°C. Unlike PP strapping, which can become brittle at low temperatures, PET strapping is also more heat-resistant than PP strapping.
PET strapping exhibits excellent UV resistance and is not susceptible to degradation during long-term outdoor storage or transportation, making it suitable for long-distance ocean transportation and outdoor warehousing.
PET strapping maintains excellent tension after packaging, with creep relaxation significantly lower than that of PP strapping and steel strapping. This provides long-lasting, stable tightening force.
PET strapping has a smooth surface, unlike steel strapping, and will not scratch operators or cargo during handling or unpacking, making it extremely safe.
