Product Description
PP strapping is used for bundling lightweight products such as cardboard boxes, logistics products, e-commerce warehouses, fruits, clothing, and home appliances.
PP strapping (polypropylene strapping) is currently the most widely used and cost-effective plastic strapping material in the packaging and bundling industry. It is made from food-grade polypropylene resin as the core raw material through high-temperature extrusion, embossing, stretching, and shaping processes. With its stable physical properties, excellent adaptability, and extremely low operating costs, PP strapping has completely replaced traditional steel strapping and ordinary plastic strapping, and is widely used in industrial production, logistics warehousing, e-commerce packaging, light manufacturing, and other major fields.
- Lightweight and high-strength: PP strapping has low density and light weight, yet its breaking strength meets the strapping requirements for the vast majority of ordinary goods. Compared to steel or PET strapping, procurement costs are significantly lower, making it suitable for high-volume use.
- Flexible and resistant to brittle breakage: PP material inherently possesses a certain degree of ductility and elasticity, allowing it to adapt to changes in cargo shape during the strapping process and remain secure without loosening. When subjected to impact or vibration, the strap absorbs some of the energy, reducing the risk of cargo damage.
